Creamy Mustard Sauce for Asparagus

This easy sauce for asparagus comes together fast. The no-cook mustard sauce is made by mixing together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and white-wine vinegar. Season with salt and pepper, and it's ready to serve with steamed or boiled asparagus.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon white-wine vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • Salt and pepper

  • Simply Steamed Asparagus

Directions

  1. In a bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon white-wine vinegar, and 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper. Drizzle over chilled Steamed Asparagus.
