Adorning your home's exterior with Christmas lights is one classic way to decorate for the holidays. So is adding festive wreaths to your doors and windows—both inside or out. The beauty of these miniature wreaths is tied to their simplicity; the evergreen hoops are dressed up with basic, bright red ribbon. Follow our step-by-step guide to create your own using cut sprigs of seasonal greenery (choose multiple varieties for more visual interest!). Then, display them at varied heights in a front-facing window to share the some festive cheer with your neighbors.

What You'll Need

Materials

Greenery
Hot glue gun
Ribbon or seam binding
Embroidery hoop

Instructions

Cut sprigs of greenery (we used spruce, cedar, and juniper) and hot glue around an embroidery hoop.
Repeat to cover the front and back of the rings, and adhere smaller pieces to the inside of the hoops as needed.
Loop a length of ribbon or seam binding around each wreath, and hang.
