Martha and Snoop Dogg have learned a lot from each other over the course of their friendship—the rapper even considers Martha one of his most influential mentors. During a recent interview with TMZ, Snoop credited Martha for inspiring his latest business venture: an ice cream brand, coined Dr. Bombay.

During the interview, Snoop said fellow rapper Master P and Martha are the two people who got him to where he is today. "Master P showed me the business. But Martha Stewart showed me how to take it to another level," he said.

According to Snoop, Martha has helped him grow professionally—and in more ways than one. "She was always explaining to me about being in different department stores, having a cookbook, expanding my business, doing different things to diversify my portfolio," he said. "She showed me how to excel at what I'm doing."

Beyond just helping him with his entrepreneurial endeavors, Martha has also taught Snoop a greater lesson about life. "Once we got together, you've seen that people love people. That's one thing about me and Martha's relationship that I love is that it unites people of all walks of life," he said. "They see two people that genuinely love each other and care for each other and that makes the world feel the same way."
